Converting .mpc

I have a few .mpc files that I want to convert to mp3 or something that I can open in iTunes. This .mpc files work fine playing through VLC but that is not good enough for me.

Is there any software that can do this for me? If VLC is the correct software, could you run me through how to do it? Thanks
