I recently bought a secondhand mac computer. It contains all the guys previous information. I need to know how to get rid of all of his info (i.e. all his computer accounts and passwords, itunes, documents, etc).
I have tried using an external harddrive to switch my info into the new computer but I could not figure out how it worked.
HELP! At this rate I would rather just keep my dell (only because I can't figure out how to use the mac).
I need help converting over...any suggestions?

The easiest way would be to just reinstall the OS. Did the person who sold it to you happen to give you any recovery disks? If so, just put the first one in and do an Erase and Install of the OS.

If not, what might be easiest is just to delete all of his accounts and create a new one for yourself, or you can either buy the recovery disks which are specific to your machine type, or buy a retail copy of an OS X disk (both on a site such as eBay) and then reinstall the OS from there.
