I have an app on the app store that was built as an iPhone only app, but now the guy I built it for would like to make a version built to work with the iPad. How can I convert an existing iPhone app into a Universal app without creating a new app?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

First, go into your app Target's Summary tab and change the Devices setting in the iOS Application Target section from iPhone to Universal.

Then, you will (probably) need to create a whole new interface for the iPad side of your app. Are you using storyboards?

No, I'm not using storyboards. I created this app before apple introduced them. I know I'll have to create new view controllers for iPad, I just don't want to have to re-create my Model or do any updates to it twice. Thanks for the help!
