I've looked and looked....

I know MANY people have this issue. I have tons of videos scattered in 100+ events in iPhoto. None of these videos are compatible with iPhone/ATV2 format. Is there a program that can mass convert these into the proper format? I can't believe there is not a automatic converter in iPhoto.

Thanks to all in advance.

Thanks for the reply...that helps a lot (sarcasm).

Why do you think they included the "include videos" option when syncing photos?

Anyone else (with a brain) have an ideas? I really hate ignorant people...

Use MPEGStreamclip. It has a good batch convert facility. Not sure if you can drag your videos direct from iPhoto to the Batch window. You might have to go via Finder.

I've got the some problem. Is it OK to mess with iPhoto library and convert not supported video format to mp4? I would use MPEGStreamclip. Is iPhoto going to recognize videos.

And there is one more problem. When you convert videos, you lose date and time.

Any solutions so far?

Check out HandBrakeBatch. It uses the handbrake engine, with a batching utility. You can also retain the original date and time if desired. I export the original files from iPhoto, batch convert, import into iPhoto, then remove the originals.
