Job would never allow such "Jelly" product out (knocking), which is against Apple's fundamental philosophy and defected by industry standard.

By saying "LCD normal", "keep eyes elsewhere", "using landscape more", it is just irresponsible.

Our fans purchase Apple's products not because "just another Samsung or related", but because "you are the Apple".

Jobs was not known to admit these kinds of issues easily. Think of the Antennagate where he said people didn't hold their iPhones the right way.

I believe Apple should offer further regarding iPad mini screen, but I don't believe that a widespread recall is going to happen, especially since the issue was discovered before the return period.

When did TC say these things? Do you have a source please?

And who is this Job?

Steve Jobs literally held a press event to say that the iPhone 4 didn’t have a faulty antenna and that “all phones lose signal” when held the wrong way.

Anyway I have yet to notice the “scrolling issue.“

Should they recall the 2021 iPad Pro 12.9-inch as well due to edge shadow and blooming?

And hey, PWM on OLED displays cause some people eye strain and migraines. Should OLED iPhones be recalled, too?

People who have peanut allergy don't tell stores to stop selling peanuts. They just avoid items with peanuts in them.

If the jelly scrolling bothers you, then simply return the mini 6 or just don't buy it in the first place.

Yes, and my wife used her 4 for 5 years without any issue. Had never lost signal because of her fingers. Had never complained about it.

This jelly scrolling becomes issue because of slow speed video. How’s that relevant in real life if you need to slow video substantially to show it?

This remind me of a time when M1 MBA launched and some people tried to find fault of the screen by pushing it to maximum brightness and twisted contrast substantially and magnify photo of it to “present an issue with the screen”. 🙁

Nobody made a fuss when this issue already existed on the iPad Air.

It’s the perfect example of something being an issue only because people want it to be a problem.

Return your iPad mini or don’t buy it if you are unhappy with it. Millions will have no issue with it, and go on to use it happily.

To be honest I don’t think I’d even notice the jelly scrolling. I’ve been using OLED displays on the iPhone since 2017 and never noticed this PWM. I remember being told in multiple threads on this website that I was only deceiving myself and that I could see it really lol

my eyesight isn’t the best and I don’t pay too much attention to detail. I just use my devices. I don’t nit pick things. So I’m not convinced I’d even notice jelly scroll. I’m quite forgiving too. Things have to significantly impact my enjoyment of the device before it becomes an issue for me.

I’m still on the fence about upgrading to the 6 from my mini 5 but it’s nothing to do with Jellt scrolling. Only about whether I’d actually benefit from the upgraded in my day to day usage.

Sone people are overly dramatic but it makes for entertaining threads so I don’t mind lol

Have an SE 1. I like bigger phones but o do appreciate the size and classic design of my SE. Only issue is the battery life. I have to keep it in a battery case now. It drains horribly even in standby.
I still have mine and use as an iPod. I was having battery issues too, but have you tried setting up as a new device? This might fix the issue.
