I'll be dumping my Windows machines soon, to go all Mac. I've found Mac replacements for most audio programs I use on W7. But I was wondering what you would consider to be THE perfect replacement for Cool Edit...

(Disclamer: Yeah, I know! They call it Audition now, but I'm kinda old-school and still use Cool Edit Pro 2.0 on my W7 )

Thanks in advance!

I need it for producing radio imaging at my home studio. Cool Edit was perfect for me on Windows machines... So something similar would be nice! I know about Protools but that's a bit too much...

Thanks again, appreciate it!

I've been looking into Logic Pro 9 and I think I've made up my mind and go for that. Thanks for the suggestion Macman45! And thanks simsaladimbamba for thinking along too, appreciate it :)
