I'll be dumping my Windows machines soon, to go all Mac. I've found Mac replacements for most audio programs I use on W7. But I was wondering what you would consider to be THE perfect replacement for Cool Edit...

(Disclamer: Yeah, I know! They call it Audition now, but I'm kinda old-school and still use Cool Edit Pro 2.0 on my W7 😎)

Thanks in advance!

Depends on just how serious you want to get...Logic, Logic Pro are excellent, but you might not want that much power...What exactly do you plan to do with your audio files?

I need it for producing radio imaging at my home studio. Cool Edit was perfect for me on Windows machines... So something similar would be nice! I know about Protools but that's a bit too much...

Thanks again, appreciate it!

I've been looking into Logic Pro 9 and I think I've made up my mind and go for that. Thanks for the suggestion Macman45! And thanks simsaladimbamba for thinking along too, appreciate it 🙂
