Does the book say how long they'd been working on it? For the new MBP touch bar, one of the engineers tweeted that they spent eight years from the initial idea.

It might, I haven't read it cover to cover yet. I do know from other interviews they started working on it around 2011.

No problem haha I actually feel quite tempted towards the smaller one 🙂

It certainly is on my radar; waiting on my first Apple Watch I've owned to be delivered and then the book may be my next purchase to go along with my collection of design and art books I have 🙂
