Is there a way to get copies of any texts to and from a child’s iPhone? Please no parenting comments... I am actually asking for a friend.

Do they have iCloud turned on in iMessages? Just log in with the Apple ID on another apple device. If not, you’d have to back up the phone to iTunes, then restore it onto another similar apple device I guess (You’d have to have the Apple ID used).

I think this question can be taken wrongly (child predators, etc...) so I’d assume you’re going to get some interesting replies. Lol.

Friend and I are moms. We are not child predators. Trying to kee an eye on a teenage child.

Do they get texts that come in via sms that way?

No, SMS texts would not show up.
