copy and paste doesnt work

i have the 3.0 GM and i cant seem to get cut copy and paste to work in safari.

Im holding down the selection i want, but nothing happens.

ideas?

edit: actually it just seems to act up when on a mobile site, such as cnn.com

Yep, scroll to the bottom and click "Regular Site."

Mobile CNN is set up for quick clicking and you're not actually interfacing with the text, you're interfacing with links.

It really depends on how the site defines the clickable areas...

yeah, i've noticed that it doesn't work with everything in safari, since the selection is a little bit difference. its a lot more than text you know. you've got images, tables, formatting, etc.

More on above. Maybe you are not in a area that allows cut/paste. Maybe try to locate a TEXT ONLY AREA of the page.
