Copy and Paste removes formatting - why?

I don't know if anyone is still following this, but I'm running 3.1b and the problem still exists!

I believe that they have resolved the problem, and are waiting for the next version of Firefox to be released which will have the fix in it. I believe it is already fixed in the nightly-builds.

So hang in there... I too am waiting, but at least there has been movement.

I know this is an old thread, but I just got here via Google, and it looks like the most up-to-date Firefox, version 3.6.13 still hasn't fixed this problem. Any workaround?
