    open clip? Like i said i am unable to do any search on it or even see if its an app yet. My company block darn near everything! :mad:

    As the article says, it is NOT an app, it's a framework... or *was* a framework. It was blocked by Apple with iPhone firmware 2.1 back in 2008.

    Iphone is the first device that edits text and cannot select it IN YEARS. this and another lacks makes iphone so unique and special.
    Maybe palm qould change anything slapping apples face.

    Obviously there is always the possibility of jailbreaking your iPhone in order to gain the functionality. You shouldn't have to do this, though. As usual, Apple will add this to their next iteration of the iPhone later this year, and tout it as a huge new feature.


    Can't wait!

    Clippy for jailbroken iphone works great for this. I'm not trying to advocate for jailbreaking as there are performance setbacks to it, I'm just saying. :cool:
