Copy DCIM Folders from iPhone 5 to PC does not copy

Why when I copy the DCIM folder (windows 7 or 8) to the PC folder. It does not copy? It was working before. Suggestions?

try copying all the media files in DCIM folder and paste them in some other folder (on Desktop maybe).

I find that copy-paste doesn't work but drag and drop does

I use drag and drop from my dcim folder to desktop. Simpler than copy and paste and it works. 🙂
