FileAid a new file manager released on the app store :

    I have found this on a p2p forum :) :

What is FileAid and DiskAid and what can I do with this ?

You can send files to your iPhone using DiskAid by the USB cable.
Then you can view files uploaded on your iPhone using FileAid.
FileAid is also a FTP server for your device and you can send files wirelessly.

    Package contains :

    - FileAid.ipa (1.0)
    - (1.0)
    - DiskAid PC Windows (2.0)
    - DiskAid Mac OSX (1.5)

Files formats supported by FileAid :

    - Images (JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF and other)
    - PDF
    - Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    - iWork (Pages, Numbers and Keynotes)
    - Plain Text and RTF (Rich Text Format)
    - Audio (MP3 VBR, AAC, Audible, Apple Lossless, AIFF, WAV, CAF)
    - Video (standard iPhone formats : H.264, MPEG-4, 3GPP)
    - Web Archives
    - HTML files.

    How to install ?

    1. Install DiskAid on your PC or Mac
    2. Install FileAid on your iPhone or Touch
(If you dont know how to install FileAid,check out : and then :

    3. If you are on Mac, create a folder /DCIM/DiskAid and then upload in this folder files you want to view on your iPhone.
On PC no problem, this folder is created automaticaly with DiskAid 2.0. I hope the next mac version will add this new function.

    Enjoy !
