Copy from NTFS to Mac

Wow! Who knew this would turn into such a firestorm!

Thank you to all who have contributed their comments / experiences / advice. It seems like I'm good to go to copy (not move) my files from my NTFS drive using Mac OS X (and not using bootcamp).

And thanks for making my first posting here such an exciting, action-packed read!

Copying from NTFS format to Mac OS

Dear Mac users..
the problem i was facing copying from an external hard disk to a my mac OS is MacFuse
yes..after installing this macfuse u can read copy and paste to ur NTFS external hard disk..its a free small size software by the way.
voila
