so i figured out how to copy and paste by holding down and tapping COPY, but what if you only want to copy a portion of a text.. I figured it would basically use the multi-touch where you can tap and hold the beginning and the end of the copy area and thats it..

So how would you copy and paste an area??

Also, does the copy/past function also allow you to highlight and entire area and then delete it all??

double tap on the word you want to start to copy, then drag the ends of the blue highlight to your desired position and copy.

EDIT: or if your in safari, hold down your finger on where you want to start copying, and when the magnifying glass pops up, let go, now you can choose how much you want to copy.

If you want to to do a specific section just press and hold on a word and drag the dots to the thing you want selected. Or if you want to like copy an entire paragraph just hold down your finger in the middle and it will select the entire paragraph (most times).

I've had copy and paste on my phones before and this is seriously better than any other smart phone.

You can undo typing by shaking your phone.

YAY!! I love the mass delete!! I wouldnt want to undo though.> For instance, when PMing on a forum from my phone, some forums automatically quote the last PM, which drives me NUTS and you cant delete the whole other PM by UNDO because YOU didn't do it. Its awesome to be able to highlight and delete all of that. YAY!

"Cut" deletes the text while copying it to the clipboard, so you can paste it elsewhere. "Delete" removes it without keeping a copy in memory.
