is still very annoying for me, no change in iOS9. It never seems to select the text passage i want it to, often the whole text block instead. Anyone else having these problems? Or am i just clumsy?

Having sold my 6+ I'm temporarily using an old iPhone 4 which is running iOS7. The copy & paste function is haphazard at best here too. I find that the copy/cut/paste etc banner is far too close to where my finger needs to highlight text so it's a clumsy function to use. The Android copy/paste feature is soooo much better and user friendly.
