When i click on "Copy Path" in Transmit FTP app,
it copys the path with a few digits and numbers
that i have to erase everytime......to get to the webpage !!

    ftp://ftp.MyDomain.com:21//WebFolder/index_01.html

How can i copy a correct path, where i dont have to
delete the ftp and the extra :21// etc......??

    I have the same gripe

And for me, the path it gives me includes my freakin' *password* in the string!

So, for example, if I want to upload a file to my web space and then paste the URL into, say, Facebook, there's a moment where my ftp URL and password are posted to the Facebook draft. I've started opening Word docs to edit the URL before I paste it into Facebook because I know they autosave drafts every few seconds. Call me paranoid if you will!

Bottom line: this is a gripe to take to Transmit. They should have a second-click option to copy path as URL... file that under D for "Duh!" :)

Email Panic support about it; they've always been very helpful when I've contacted them.

that would be assuming the ftp server would also have a web service, and that the folder that the file was sent via FTP is accessible by the web server.
