Copy trash

I have a stupid question. I'm trying to clean my mac and moved a whole bunch of stuff to trash. Instead of deleting trash I accidentally copied trash. Where does the trash go after I copied it?

Unless you pasted it somewhere then it's still in your clipboard. A simple restart will erase the clipboard.
