Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "..." couold not be read or written. (error code -36)

i have tried this with several files and they all come up the same. This occurs when i copy from my Mac hadrdrive to my external FAT32 harddrive.

Any help?thanks

thats a read/write error

are you sure your files arnt corrupted or that you have a bad drive?
 
ok on the drive your copying to

right click > get info

under privileges

go down and find Read/Write
Read
Write

then click the little pad lock in the corner of the info box right at the bottom right hand side add your password

make sure you have have read/write added or write

that could work

Unfortunatel no this doesnt work either. i already had read and write available for me.
