Copying files faster?

is there any way i can copy files from a cd to my hard drive faster? i have to do this pretty often and i really don't want to wait one hour just to copy and sometimes theres also some files that for some reason can't copy and i would have to start all over again. i've tried copying 2000 files for 3 times today and that took 3 hours..

Unfortunately, no. A CD drive can only copy as fast as the cd drive can copy.
