Hi

I have 2 networked computers (IMac and Macbook Pro) and I cannot copy files from one to the other. I get this message: The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient write privileges.

I have done Repair Disk Permissions but this hasn't resolved the problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Probably has to do with the way you're trying to copy via networking. The easiest fix is to go in the opposite direction: working on the destination machine, copy the files from the source machine.

I can only copy in one direction - from the Macbook to the IMac

What is the folder on the iMac you're copying files into, or rather the path? Have you done the Get Info command on the folder to check its permissions?

Sounds like you are copying to the wrong folder(s). Make sure that you copy to the Documents folder for your account and not the global Documents folder.
