Can anyone explain to me why Firefox (2 or 3) does not retain text formatting when selected? If I try to cut-n-paste something from Firefox 3 (and 2) into a rich text Mail.app message, the text is only pasted as simple text. Safari is able to not only retain the formatting, but also keep the images, which Firefox turns into URLs.

Interestingly enough, Firefox is able to paste certain formatting into Gmail.

By the way, I like this "Chick If Already Posted" button. Pretty smart.

Using Firefox 3 on OS X 10.5.2
