iOS Copyright infringement

I am in the process of developing a game which is similar in a way to a nintendo game. How can I find out if it infringes on copyrights?

As long as you copy only vague ideas / concepts, you'll be fine. Just look at the number of Doodle Jump / Angry Birds ripoffs in the App Store.
What you should not do is copy and paste images / sounds / etc.

IANAL though, so you might want to consult one. 🙂
