Going to purchase MP, either 6 or 12 core based on feedback. I will be running OSX and Windows 7 applications via Parallels and would like to know if and how going with the 12 core vs 6 core will benefit. Would 12 core allow me to allocate 6 cores to OSX and the remaining 6 cores to Windows and thereby have maximum speed for applications in both OSs? Appreciate your advice.
