Core Duo and Late 2008 MBP MagSafe Adapters Compatible?

As per the topic title.

Physically the charge adapter that came with my original MBP Core Duo is larger than the one that came with my Late 08 MBP, but will it work without issue?

Should be. I'm charging my unibody MBP right now with a 60W MacBook one, as my original charger is at work.
