For about a million reasons a Raspberry Pi is more suitable as a simple Homebridge server, though.

Not if you're using it with some ob the web cams I have. The CPU in the PIs just wasn't enough.

Which perhaps isn't within the limits of a "simple Homebridge server" as in the post I replied to; at least to me a simple Homebridge server isn't the same as something having to deal with heavy video streams.
