Hi all

Does anyone know what the correct VPN setup would be when tethered to my iPhone? I often use my iPad and Mac tethered to my iPhone and I want ALL devices to go through the VPN. Do I use need the VPN switched on on the iPhone or do I need all devices to have the VPN switched on?

Many thanks

M.

Right I've got to the bottom of this now. It's NordVPN I'm using. As long as each device connects to a different server, you can have all devices connected at the same time.

Why do you need to connect the devices with different servers?!

Because NordVPN only allow one device per account per server. So even though you can have up to 6 devices connected at once, they all have to be on different servers.

The issue I was having initially was that all devices were defaulting to the same server so they were all connecting/disconnecting over and over and I didn’t know what the issue was.

Ah I see, so the issue is down to specific VPN service, do you mind updating the title to reflect that please?
