Corrupt Sleepimage... Possible Cause?

I wasn't sure where to put this thread so I stuck it here.

I am having problems with my rMBP. My sleep image is constantly getting corrupted, so says the apple store, and I can't figure out why.

In general, what causes a sleep image to go corrupt?
 
I have never heard of the sleep image becoming corrupted. What is happening exactly that makes the Apple tech think this?
