Hi,

The other night i picked a glass up off the table and didn't realise the coaster was stuck to the bottom of the glass and it fell and the corner of this hit my macbook leaving a small chip in the aluminium just to the left of the trackpad.

All i was to know really is could Apple fix this and if so does anyone know of any prices. I like to keep all of my stuff in A1 condition so this has annoyed me.

Anyway thanks and i hope someone can help. 🙂

I think pretty much the only way to solve this would be to replace the case, not a cheap job by any means and probably not worth it for cosmetic reasons.
I have not heard of the casing being repaired.
Typically, cosmetic damage on the unibody is expensive/difficult/impossible to repair.

Replacement top cases run around $200. You can order and install it yourself if you have a little technical knowledge.

This happened to me on my display casing. I eventually began to ignore it, then my display got repaired due to other reasons anyway lol
