Anyone always under the impression that an Apple notebook has to be in perfect condition? I am just curious to see who has made cosmetic damage to their MacBook, PowerBook, iBook, MacBook Pro, etc. So how is your Apple notebook?

So tell us if you have big scratches, dents, small dings... If you are a new owner do not reply because your notebook is probably already in good condition.

My scratched Macbook looks a million times better than any non-scratched PC :)

There isn't a single white macbook out there that doesn't have scratches. If they don't have scratches from the factory, they have them as soon as you breathe on them when you're unpacking. Pretty invisible though so that's good. I've never seen such sensitive plastic - my sony ericsson phone is five months old and I don't take care of it at all and it doesn't have a scratch on it. Apple must go out of their way to find this kind of material...

My PowerBook is in pretty damn good shape for being three and a half years old. A couple small chips in the finish on the edges and the top-case is a bit loose above the DVD drive (flexes/squeaks), but no dings or dents that I'm aware of. I took very good care of her. :)

I have a small dent beside my MagSafe and a small ding on one of the corners. Various little chips in the finish. No biggie :)

I've got a small ding on the top of my iBook. It's hardly noticeable, but it's deep. A heavy pyramid souvenir from Egypt was dropped on it - but it was fine. I also have a few bad scratches on the center of my screen. I can't notice it when using it, but always notice it from the side.

My MacBook however is in perfect condition... for now.
