I really hope that the next version of OS X has the ability to remember setups of multiple monitors.

for example, I have my macbook hooked up to a monitor (running duals), everyday I have to unplug my macbook and take it somewhere.

The problem is when I get back home and try to hook up the monitor again.
all my widgets are all bunched up on the primary display, I have to manually move then each across to the screen I want.

I just want OS X to remember the window location and widget location when I have a a monitor hooked up. Similar to how it remembers the volume settings for headphones when they are unplugged, then automatically changes every time you plug in or unplug your headphones.

i would like this feature too. i currently have my MBP hooked up to a Cinema Display. when i unplug the MBP and use it then plug it back into the display all the windows are tiny and to the left like they were on the 15" screen. i like it if the MBP remembered the screen size and window arrangements when it was plugged into the display.

although OS X does remember the desktop wallpapers for clamshell and extended desktop mode... but who cares! i wont the other feature!

Just for the record, puma and cougar are two names for the same thing. So is panther for that matter, and mountain lion.

waiting for OSX "Hello Kitty" and "*****"
and panther means:
Cougar found in North America
Jaguar found in South and Central America
Leopard found in Africa and Asia
so theyre all the same cat!

I can't wait for Mac OS X Mr Bigglesworth
