a friend of mine, who just recently brought a macbook, was wondering if there was a safe music program he can download on his mac... he recently owned a pc, and ran kazaa on it, but kazaa screwed it up. Is there a safe program available for mac users to allow them to download free music? (ps. he does buy music, he is just curious about a free program)

iTunes...its free(the App is, and there is SOME free music) and safe! Best of all very legal
