Could get ibook g3 or imac g3 for christmas!

Ok everyone i could get either an imac g3 or ibook g3 for christmas! Which do you think i should get? I kind of want the ibook more

Like he said it really depends on the specs. if you are getting a last rev. iBook that will be faster than a last rev iMac. whichever one you decide to go with though you will want to max the RAM.
 
I'm typing this from a G3 800mhz iBook. It's a swell computer, and I'd definitely recommend it over the iMac. The portability factor is so sweet. I'm on my bed with my head against the wall and the book on my lap. I don't think twice about taking the comp anywhere with me. It's awesome. I'm only upgrading to an MB because I need more HD space and a faster processor to play all my vids. Other than that though, this is a great piece of gear, and if you're just going to be surfing the net, typing documents, listening to music, etc, it's a terrific deal. Just make sure you max out the RAM, as said earlier. I've got 640mb in mine, and it runs Tiger all right.
 
The G3 iBooks all have a problem where they have "sweaty" keyboards caused by the decaying of an adhesive for a sticker that is placed underneath the keyboards. When this adhesive decays, it smells EXACTLY like sweaty armpits. I mean, they REEK. So take that into consideration.
 
Years ago I wanted an iBook for Christmas, but I didn't get one. I got an HP instead, but of course I was still happy.

Just keep saving your money, get a MacBook. It's going to be more expensive, but it will pay off and you'll love it to death.
