Personally I want LTE on my watch for when I run. Listen to Apple music and not have to take my phone for emergencies.

I can understand the emergency factor playing a role for LTE. But when it comes to my workouts, I detest distractions when I'm running or weightlifting. I prefer stay focused as possible, but I understand there are those moments where we least expect an issue to arise in that one call that could be pertinent incorporating LTE in the Apple Watch, being your iPhone may not be near.

Totally agree with the comment above. LTE - cellular connection is the most important aspect for me to persuade me to buy next generation Apple Watch even with premium price. It is time to have the watch smarter than the current one.

I'm not sure why people want cellular radio on their watches. It's going to wreak havoc on the battery.
What use scenario where one has to have LTE on one's watch? The series 2 already has GPS, so that covers the runners. The Apple watch is an iPhone accessory, not a standalone device.

We will see how well do the new Android Wear 2.0 watches with cellular sell. I doubt they would sell much.
