I'm in the middle of a fairly lengthy Crashplan backup. I was doing was some word processing in LibreOffice...then while I was selecting a block of text, the whole application starts flickering like crazy. I think I managed to sneak a "Save" command in there, but it didn't show any obvious response to my input until I quit the program completely.

Was this just LibreOffice being LibreOffice, or is it likely that the Crashplan backup was interfering with its normal operations somehow? If it's the latter, them it's kind of a bummer to think that I won't be able to run both applications at the same time....

I'm used to NeoOffice occasionally crashing on me for no good reason -- that's why I got into the habit of drafting in Bean -- but I suppose LibreOffice could be equally flakey....

I have never noticed Crashplan interfering with any application. I use it across 8 computers without a hitch.
