Could Snow Leopard Be Apples Vista?

I've been running 10.6 for a few days now and it's the most stable build of OS X I've ever used to be honest. I've gotten the "this program has quit" like only 1 or 2 times so far...Leopard used to crash more routinely. The only thing that lags for me is accessing another mac over another network
