I have read a lot about "pwning" ?? your iphone and seen the vids and posts etc. The vid looks smart and relatively easy but what does it mean? I bought a iphone in feb, I wanted to run my existing o2 and orange sim cards in it as well as installing all these neat 3rd party apps. The overwhelming responses and replies from these forums was that "Ziphone" was the way to go, one click and bam! I did this and was extremely satisfied and impressed. I currently run a 1.1.4 iphone "did it all" with ziphone 2.5c [just checked with baseband info and I'm on bl3.9] What is the reality of my phone being "permanently downgraded to BL3.9" ?? Which I have read so much about?? Does it matter??? I kind of knew I wouldn't have any warranty for my phone as i wasn't intending it to be used how apple and o2 would like. I took this as granted. If I mess with my phone, it's my own stupid fault for messing, fair cop. Is there any other reason why it's so bad to be downgraded to 3.9?? I wish to upgrade in june to the new software update and so, looking for the best method.
