It's the purple feather I'm curious about.
Does it not tell you when you roll your mouse over it?

It's Adobe Photoshop from CS2. I still run the app and this is the PShop icon. It's been colored as far as I can see. Your SS is quite small. There are lot of colored CS2 icons on the web.
i would have to disagree, CS2 won't run on anything after 10.6 because it requires Rosetta. The computer in the screenshot looks to be running 10.7+ because of the launchpad icon.
that being said, still not sure what app it is, somebody could of changed an apps icon to the purple feather.
Hi, you may be right. I didn't notice the launchpad icon. Still, I'd go for Photoshop CS2 icon or a custom made icon. A mystery...
Looks like a third party Photoshop icon replacement. Lots of people didn't like the Adobe icon makeover (the square solid color icons) in CS5, so there are several replacement sets.
