2nd attempt at the Apple Store to get a better fit that would eliminate the light coming in on the sides, which causes a yellow orb in the center of the lenses when in a lit room. No luck. All the attempts were either uncomfortable or even more light escaped in. Sticking with the original size I was initially recommended (21W). I guess I will just watch movies in the dark....or wear a hoodie😂.

I have a nagging feeling that there is a more comfortable fit for me. But not sure if a trip to the Apple Store would be helpful, because I find the fit very comfortable at first, but then it slowly gets uncomfortable over time. Not terribly so, but enough that it’s a relief to take off.

Haven’t tried the dual loop yet, so maybe that is the answer.

The dual loop is apparently way more comfortable but instead of Apple designing the over your head strap as an add on to the existing tightening space age looking strap, they made the dual loop a super cheap looking replacement that renders the other one useless.

While not as attractive, and more of a hassle to adjust, the duo loop does provide more support off of the face. Still a long way away from being called “comfortable”, but an improvement for most.

Yeah it is all the pancake lenses. I tried probably 5 for 6 different unit at the Apple Store, my friends unit, and the one I owned. Every single one had it to the same degree.
Where do you stand on the passthrough? The ads and the early reviews made it seem like it was flawless and only mentioned that you could tell it was a camera recording if you focused, but clearly it gets pixelated, is blurry, and the glare can obscure it. I was in a darkish room last evening and logged into an app from the Vision Pro and it said it was going to send a code to my phone or watch, both of which I had with me. I held it up to the camera and found I couldn’t read it, so had to take Vision Pro off to get the code. Thinking back on it, should I have been able to read it? I don’t have the Zeiss inserts yet but generally I should be able to read a text without glasses on. Just curious your reaction.

Definitely not what I had in mind, but as long as I was in a super bright environment it was acceptable. That was honestly on the low end of the totem pole for me in terms of issues. It was seriously the lens glare and that alone.

I have a 22N light seal coupled with a N+ cushion. I have no issues with light leakage from the outside, but as others have pointed out, internal glare is problematic watching bright content in a dark virtual environment.

Yesterday, I tried the AVP with the light seal in place, but without the cushion. To my surprise, glare was reduced. The field of view also improved because my eyes were a bit closer to the screens. It was uncomfortable with the un-cushioned seal against my face, but that could be fixed with a thinner cushion.
