So originally i had gotten a 3g on 6/12. Two weeks later i jumped in a pool with it in my pocket. Apple replaced it for 200 dollars but now AT & T won't take the replaced phone :(. So i guess the 3gs i ordered goes to waste. No way i can afford the 600 for it. Or do i have any other options?

What do you mean "won't take the replaced phone"?

If you have the physical phone, just put in your old SIM card (or get a new one for $15 if it's not working), and plug it in to your computer.

Why should you get three phones at a subsidized price in less than two years? You haven't even finished paying for your old phones yet.

Yeah good point. The original situation was that since it was so close to the release date i was gonna return the original 3g for the 3gs, but due to waterlogging that didn't work. Apple DID sell me a refurb for 200 so i should probably be happy with that.

Whoa: did you buy the 3G June 12, or December 6? I assumed December, since getting a phone 2 days before WWDC would be nuts, if upgrading was something you think important.

Either way, I'm sure the 3G will be fine for another year or so.

Stay out of pools! :(

June 12th :p. Its all the girls fault, she distracted me :(

Is this a typo or a Freudian slip? :)

They probably would of traded it in if i hadnt talked to the same guy i talked to when i originally water logged my phone. But then again they probably check serial numbers aye?

I guess i could always ebay the 3g and use my mom's upgrade if i really wanted the 3gs that bad ;)
