Couldn't get my 3GS

So originally i had gotten a 3g on 6/12. Two weeks later i jumped in a pool with it in my pocket. Apple replaced it for 200 dollars but now AT & T won't take the replaced phone 🙁. So i guess the 3gs i ordered goes to waste. No way i can afford the 600 for it. Or do i have any other options?

I think you should be happy that you were able to get a discount on a replacement phone, when you trashed the old one.

What do you mean "won't take the replaced phone"?

If you have the physical phone, just put in your old SIM card (or get a new one for $15 if it's not working), and plug it in to your computer.

Yeah good point. The original situation was that since it was so close to the release date i was gonna return the original 3g for the 3gs, but due to waterlogging that didn't work. Apple DID sell me a refurb for 200 so i should probably be happy with that.

Whoa: did you buy the 3G June 12, or December 6? I assumed December, since getting a phone 2 days before WWDC would be nuts, if upgrading was something you think important.

Either way, I'm sure the 3G will be fine for another year or so.

They probably would of traded it in if i hadnt talked to the same guy i talked to when i originally water logged my phone. But then again they probably check serial numbers aye?
