Hey I know lot of people here are not happy with todays updates, but i think something is better than nothing.:)

I have just ordered my first MacBook (2.16 white 120 sata) this morning, hopefully it will be a great experience. Though i went through the beginners guide, I want to ask If there is any way of testing out the MacBook early on for heat dissipation and if all the hardware is working in optimum condition (Drives, screen etc). You can say like a stress test.

Please help, new to macworld but hopefully here to stay for life.:apple:

Congrats.:) Good choice by choosing a mac.:)
For testing, you could try the Hardware Test from the install disc and see if everything works fine.

    Fantastic, congrats!

You''ll enjoy your new MB, I had a Rev A core duo MB up until I bought my new MBP a few days ago. You got yourself a really slick machine and I wouldn't be too concerned about heat, apparently the C2D run cooler than the CD did.
