Oh fantastic! This means the update will be out on PC too. Can't wait to try it out (not the biggest CS player in the world but I drop in from time to time).

Counter Strike has been a glaring omission from the world of Macintosh for years. Nice to finally see this coming.

Mac Gaming will be changing for the better from here on out

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

now just gotta get Valve to remember that WW2 game they released... what was it.oh yea! DAY OF DEFEAT!! come on valve don't ignore it any longer!!

I'm already playing the Beta. It ran fine on all settings low but textures and models at high at 1280x800 with about 45~60fps, but after 10.6.4 it now runs MUCH worse. Now I get 25~35fps on all settings low but textures and models at medium at 1280x800 😡

Nice, I've been waiting for this ever since Steam for Mac had been announced. I'm worried though, if I should update to 10.6.4 or not. I've heard some bad things about the update effecting the performance of these games.

No it isn't.

Valve Software was the publisher for Sin Episodes, which means that the game was released by Valve, eventhough, yes, Ritual Entertainment was the one that developed the game. But that doesn't matter. What matters is that Valve has control over the game and thus the ability to release it for the Mac if they see the demand for it.

So are we no longer getting Mac games every Wednesday?

I know last week was weird because TF2 got delayed until Thurs, but it was *supposed* to come out on Wednesday...so are we going to see a new game today?

Still some time in the day. A Valve guy apologized in the Steam forums for the lack of notice last time, so maybe there'll be something today if there's no notice. Maybe.
