I have an iPhone 5s, so there is no barometer to count floors climbed.

I'm pretty sure I read the Apple Watch has a barometer, but does it count floors climbed? I don't see any reading on the watch itself, and (thus far) I don't see anything on the Health app on the iPhone?

Has anyone seed proof that the Watch is indeed keeping track of floors climbed?

In the health kit, it shows floors climbed but it doesn't seem to jive with my activity.

I'm really curious if the Watch will keep track of floors climbed without an iPhone, specifically the iPhone 6 or 6+. My iPhone 5s does NOT have the capability.
