Given the secrecy surrounding N. Korea and their Military leaders meeting with S. Korea in a surprise visit the possibility of a Coup shouldn't be counted out.

This is the second time I've heard a rumor he may have gout..... I can't imagine he looks after himself particularly, he spends a huge amount on booze and a chain smokes, and into the equation lots of rich food etc he can't be that healthy over all.

    The developments could be interesting.

Seems like the seed of democracy needs to be planted in that region...

It'd be nice to see the fall of that particular brand of communism in NK, its a brutal and horrid regime.

On a purely selfish note, I'd love to see the last real bastion of communism before it dissappears. I've a freind who's just got back from NK..... The photos are very odd :D

    Well somethings going on.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un misses shrine visit, KCNA reports.

"The mystery surrounding the whereabouts of Kim Jong Un deepened Friday after the North Korean leader appeared to have missed a ceremony to pay tribute to his late father and grandfather on what is an important national anniversary.
Kim's name was absent from the list of attendees at the Kamsusuan Palace of the Sun in Pyongyang on the 69th anniversary of the Workers' Party of North Korea, issued by state news agency KCNA on Friday."
