Might pick up a 2011 13" (lower spec) MBA this christmas
Was wondering how well it would run Rift and the Sims 3

The MBA really isnt for gaming. It would play those games on low setting, but really, don't have high hopes for it.

They will run fine, sims 3 is a 3 year old game that wasn't very intense when it was released, you'd be fine on medium.
