Couple of issues with iOS 8

I have 2 issues:

First - My contacts will not update to a person's Facebook picture. I have allowed access to FB and my contacts. I've hit "update all contacts" says 0 contacts have been updated. Is there a reason why or am I missing something?

Second - If a get an app from my iPhone it sometimes won't automatically show up on my iPad. Sometimes it will work with certain apps but just as many times it won't. Is this a common problem with iOS 8? I am also pretty sure I had the same issues with iOS 7.

Can anyone shed some light here on these two issues?

Note - I have a iPhone 6.

You can try using the Sync.me app to sync contact photos.

Not all apps are optimized for iPad, so I don't think iPhone only apps will sync. Otherwise I'm not sure.

Different people run into different things that affect them. For some (if not many) there aren't really many issues that they run into in their use and/or not many that they might actually care about.
