Wow. I need to get off twitter.
Naw, TweetDeck just erupted for me when they posted those too LOL. You're not the only one watching things.
I remember bashing twitter, but theyre the only reason I watch it now.
Saw it too. Good news since its been 2 days. Cant wait for this to advance.
Now we have 3 iPhone 4 exploits! (1 of them being tethered, but it's also bootrom based, so it's unfixable via software)
Hopefully Apple doesn't release an update to fix the antenna issues and ruin this.
Since I have no problem with mines, I have no intention in updating if they do.
Woo! I just hope I can order an iPhone before Apple loads them with a new iOS version that fixes the hole.
Would this be for us iPhone 3GS iOS4 users as well? Or is this strictly iPhone 4 users?
If its another userland exploit it can potentially be used for any device on IOS4.
So even ones stuck with 3GS models with no SHSH's or with late bootrom could JB with a tool that uses this exploit and unlock with ultrasnow.
Since someone will ask... (sadly)
This is just info that progress is being made with jailbreaking iPhone 4 devices,
No, the JB for iPhone 4 is not released and No, you cannot unlock iPhone 4 yet.
DO NOT ask when, it will be released when it is ready
A good stepping stone is WAY better than nothing.
as long as they dont forget about us 3gs owners stuck on 4.0 without JB, i am happy!
So what is the significants of the screenshot of Cydia on the original post? I guess it's supposed to illustrate Cydia on an iPhone 4?
Stepping stones are good things...progress being made. Thank you Jailbreak Guys!
I know, but the way MN made it sound it seemed a lot closer. But yeah, its way better than nothing, that was just my impatience speaking.
I checked twitter a few hours ago Ive been checking every few hours waiting for something like this lol. awesome news!
Understood...we're all in withdrawal right now....
Yeah, I think the rotation-lock symbol is the clue.
I saw that...but don't know what the significants of that is?
Look at the size of the photo, thats the iPhone 4 resolution screenshot, therefore it was captured on an iPhone 4.
Come on, now...
In other news:
I think they're waiting for the 4.01 update to be released this week
