1. it does not display carrier logo anymore on the upper part of the screen.

2. How to have it display battery percentage? Can’t find that option anymore

3. Same goes for auto brightness adjustment, where is that now?

For all of this, just swipe down from the upper right. it's there.
 
1. Carrier visible when you pull down control centre from the top right.
2. No way to view battery percent on standard screen, its visible in control centre as above.
3. Auto brightness is under accessibility, display accommodations.
 
When the phone is locked, it's shows the carrier in the top left. Just dont let it recognize your face, and you will see it.

Thank you sir, one gripe about the X is it takes two actions to close a program. Before u just swipe up to close them, but now u have to long press than sliding up.

Yea dont like that either, should be swipe up gesture to kill the app, although perhaps theres a risk it could confuse the home gesture with it, so they decided to do a force touch then hit the kill corner instead
